The RZR Herten and the RZR Herten II is one of the world's most modern waste incineration plants. The plant consists of 2 lines for burning domestic waste, 2 Lines for comercial waste and 2 lines for hazardous waste. Per year the plant thermally processes approx. 600,000 tonnes of domestic and commercial waste and approx. 112,000 tonnes of industrial waste. With its future-oriented technology the RZR plant comes well below the limits for emissions prescribed by law (17. BlmSchV).
